Passive Income ($PSI): a mid-term perspective

Thesis:

PSI (Passive income) is a platform for easy passive income generation via txn fees on protocol transactions. After an initial hype, the token price decreased significantly from > 1000 USD and found a base just recently around 300–400 USD. Whilst many products are supposedly in the pipeline in all regions of DeFi (Lending, borrowing, IDO platform, NFTs, tokenized assets, etc.), not many have been rolled out thus far. However, PSI recently teamed up with OMNI Group Property Invest (luxury property manager, established 2011, financial details not available, currently ~50 villas for 3–5 m EUR on avg. listed on the website, typical commission would be 10–20%, selling 10–20 villas a year would generate revenues of 3–20 m EUR), a Spain-based luxury property investment company (omni-psi.com), https://www.omniestategroup.com) to establish tokenized assets for their properties. The concept in a nutshell is to allow for investments into luxury (i. e., high-yield and ROI) properties for people with small capital via tokens.

In the current state, the overall company performance and product portfolio is not strong enough for us to look into a long-term investment, as it is unclear whether deliverables (e.g. new products) will be shipped according to the roadmap. If some products are shipped soon, this thesis might change, as the general idea and fundamentals of the company are strong. A short-term investment to ride the wave of a potential hype around tokenized assets plus an upcoming tier 1 exchange listing could be sensible. An update at a later time when potential products have been shipped will follow.
